BIRDS:BRILLIANT AND BIZZARE

Exhibitions and launch parties often serve as a fertile ground for inspiring design and innovative concepts. This was especially true for a recent cocktail reception that we were hired to cater. Our client requested us to design a selection of unique cocktails befitting the opening of the ‘Birds: Brilliant and Bizarre’ exhibition at the Natural History Museum.

The brief did not specify any particular flavor profile or spirits that should be used in the cocktails. Instead, the focus was on creating a visually impactful array of drinks that would complement the theme of the exhibition. We were provided with a link to the museum’s website for visual reference.

Keeping the event’s large scale in mind – with over 300 guests expected to attend – we knew we needed to carefully consider both logistics and preparation.

We designed and presented four diverse cocktails styles for the client’s consideration, one of which was selected for the exhibition’s opening night.
